What items do you have for special diets… gluten-free, vegetarian, vegan, keto, low carb…?
Most menu items are adaptable, and we’re happy to adapt them to meet your needs.
Gluten-free: We offer gluten-free pasta, gluten-free bread, and gluten-free wraps and salads. We always have some gluten free desserts.
Vegetarian: Co-owner Wayne is a vegetarian, and our menu includes a number of vegetarian starters, soups, salads, sandwiches, and entrees. Vegetarian favorites include our famous house-made black bean burger, portobello burger with artichoke spread, vegetarian reuben, hearty salads, and pastas.
Vegan: We have a falafel and hummus plate, house-made black bean burger, veggie pasta, and salads that can easily be made vegan. Our salads are loaded with fruit and veggies and beautiful greens — these are not sad plates of iceberg lettuce. We occasionally make vegan desserts.
Low Carb & Keto: Many of our meat entrees are keto-friendly and low carb when ordered with double vegetables and no starch. We also do low carb and keto specials from time to time — keep an eye on our Facebook page for weekly specials.
Is Ivy’s a farm-to-table restaurant?
We source locally when possible, plus we grow a lot of produce ourselves, and frequently buy organic ingredients.
Is Ivy’s kid-friendly?
Everyone is welcome! It’s a cozy space, so you may find it’s not the most fun place to eat with your kids. Because of our size, we only have one high chair (no booster seats), and there’s not much room for walking with fidgety youngsters. The Absinthe Lounge and patio are 21 and over.
Is Ivy’s dog-friendly?
Dogs are welcome on our deck!
Do you take reservations?
Yes, we take reservations. We’ll do our best to have a table ready for you, but since the restaurant is small and our guests take their time, sometimes there’s still a bit of a wait with a reservation. Call (219) 929-4319 to make a reservation.
You can also reserve our back patio, Absinthe lounge, and/or upstairs dining room in advance for larger parties.
Do you take carryout orders?
We welcome carryout orders. Sometimes, some of our weekend dinner specials are not available for carryout. Call (219) 929-4319 to place an order.
What’s the attire at Ivy’s Bohemia House?
Our goal is to make the restaurant an enjoyable place for everyone, whether you’re dressed up for a night on the town or just coming from beach. Everyone is welcome to come and relax.
Do you have anything special planned for holidays?
Yes! We have theme menus and seasonal specials for:
Superbowl Sunday: Pre-order your Ricky Ricardo Giant 3 Foot Cubano for the big game.
Valentine’s Day: Enjoy our special Valentine’s Day menu.
Mardi Gras: Plenty of cajun food, king cake, New Orleans cocktails, and so much fun!
St. Patrick’s Day: Our famous house-made glazed corned beef! Plus lots of other traditional Irish favorites and themed desserts, along with Irish beer and drink specials.
Easter: Turkey Tetrazzini and lots of bakery case treats.
Halloween: Come in costume and enjoy our spooky decor.
Thanksgiving: Don't feel like cooking? Order a side or the whole schmear from us!
Christmas season: Enjoy our jolly atmosphere, dinner specials, and treats.
New Year’s Eve: Celebrate at Ivy’s with a special dinner menu, classic cocktails, sparkling wine, and festive ambiance.
